Kacey Mayes is a member of Triplett Woolf Garretson’s civil litigation group, assisting with matters such as contract disputes and various creditor rights litigation such as mechanic liens, loan foreclosures, collections, and replevin actions. She also regularly practices in the area of assisted reproductive technology, guiding intended parents and gestational carriers through the drafting and negotiation of surrogacy agreements, as well as through the final declaration of parentage. In addition to representing clients in both state and federal courts, she also represents clients in energy and public utility law sector on matters before the Kansas Corporation Commission.

Kacey grew up in the small town of Stockton, a rural community located in Western Kansas. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Psychology from Fort Hays State University in 2016 and her Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law in 2019. While in law school, Kacey served as the Executive Editor for Volume 58 of the Washburn Law Journal.

In addition to her legal career, Kacey enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband, two children, and two golden retrievers.
