Adoptions

Triplett, Woolf & Garretson provides full services for independent adoptions, both newborn and step-parent adoptions. We provide legal services on pre-birth matters, the finalization of adoptions and on contested adoption cases. TWG, representing adoptive parents, won In re A.A.T., 196 Kan. 590, 196 P3d 1180 (2008) before the Kansas Supreme Court. In re A.A.T. was the first case of its kind to be heard in any court around the country.

TWG provides full legal services connected with assisted reproductive technology. This includes gestational surrogacy agreements and the declaration of paternity and maternity, as well as pre- and post-birth orders.
