Paula D. Langworthy


Paula Langworthy practices in the areas of family law and foreclosures/evictions. She also has substantial experience in probate and trust litigation. Paula regularly appears in court on behalf of her clients, and has trial and evidentiary hearing experience in state courts. Paula practiced with the firm from March 2006 to July 2011 and returned in November, 2012 after having served a term as the Chief Judge of the Oglala Sioux Tribal Court on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.

Paula grew up in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and is a proud member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. She graduated from Northeastern State University in 2000, receiving a B.S. in Criminal Justice/Administration of Justice, and from Washburn University School of Law (Dean's Honors) in 2005. Paula was selected to participate in the Leadership Wichita class of 2014, a program sponsored by the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce, to identify leaders in the Wichita community. In 2009, Paula was selected as a member of The Wichita Business Journal's class of 40 under 40. In the same year, she was honored by the Kansas Bar Association with a Pro Bono Certificate of Achievement. Paula served as Co-Editor of the Kansas Bar Association Young Lawyer Newsletter from 2008 to 2010, during which time the newsletter received First Place for Outstanding Young Lawyer Newsletter from the American Bar Association. Paula was named as a Rising Star in Litigation by Missouri-Kansas Super Lawyers in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016.

Paula is married to Kurt Langworthy and they have five sons.
