Tyler E. Heffron

Tyler Heffron’s practice is focused on general civil litigation, with an emphasis in business litigation, insurance defense litigation, estate and probate litigation, and oil and gas litigation. Tyler also handles matters related to creditor’s rights, including mortgage and security interest foreclosure, loan workouts, and creditor’s claims in bankruptcy. He regularly appears in court on behalf of his clients, and has trial and evidentiary hearing experience in state and federal courts. Tyler has also handled several appellate cases in front of the Kansas appellate courts, including the presentation of oral argument to the Kansas Supreme Court.

Primary Areas of Practice:

Tyler grew up in Wellington, Kansas. He is a proud graduate of Wichita State University, receiving a B.A. in Integrated Marketing (summa cum laude) in 2002. Beginning in July 2011, Tyler will serve as President of the Wichita State University Alumni Association. Tyler graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2005. While at KU Law, Tyler was the Managing Editor of Perspectives on Law & Contemporary Culture, and had two articles published in the on-line journal. In 2008, Tyler was selected to participate in Leadership Wichita, a program sponsored by the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce to identify leaders in the Wichita community. In 2010, Tyler was selected as a member of The Wichita Business Journal's class of 40 Under 40, and was named a Rising Star by Missouri-Kansas Super Lawyers®.
