Samuel D. Ritchie

Sam Ritchie's legal practice encompasses a wide range of general, civil and business litigation, including contract disputes, insurance defense, municipal law, and oil and gas litigation. Mr. Ritchie represents clients in both state and federal court. Prior to joining Triplett, Woolf & Garretson, he was Associate Counsel with the Missouri Public Service Commission where he litigated complex matters involving electric, natural gas, water, sewer, and telecommunications utilities before the Commission, federal agencies, and in state and federal courts.
Primary Areas of Practice
A Wichita native, Mr. Ritchie received a B.G.S. in Political Science and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Kansas in 2004 and 2005, respectively. He received his J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law in 2008. During law school, Mr. Ritchie served as a summer law clerk to the Honorable J. Thomas Marten, United States District Judge for the District of Kansas and also worked as a legal intern at the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, D.C. In addition to practicing law, he enjoys playing squash and tennis and is a passionate Kansas Jayhawks basketball and football fan.
