Mr. Kovar primarily practices real estate law, municipal bond financing and general business and commercial law. He assists clients in retail, residential and commercial real estate purchases, sales, and development; represents lenders and borrowers in financing arrangements; and represents landlords and tenants in lease transactions. He is also involved in both taxable and tax-exempt bond issues by municipal entities. In addition, Mr. Kovar handles all aspects of many other business law issues such as contract negotiation and drafting, banking law and commercial sales/leasing.

Andrew Kovar is a Wichita native who received his Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance, Cum Laude, from Wichita State University in 2002. Mr. Kovar spent two and a half years as an internal auditor for Emprise Bank before receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas in 2007. While in law school, he served as a student law clerk to the Honorable David J. Waxse, United States Magistrate Judge for the District of Kansas.
