Matthew T. Schippers Joins TWG

TWG is very pleased to announce that Matthew T. Schippers has become associated with the firm. Matthew was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Kansas in 2008, with Highest Distinction, and his Juris Doctorate, Order of the Coif, from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2016. While in law school, Matthew served as an Articles Editor for Volume 64 of Kansas Law Review. He also received the J.L. Weigand Scholarship, the UMB Bank Excellence in Estate Planning Award, and the Robert E. Edmunds Prize in Corporation and Securities Law. After earning his doctorate at KU, Matthew continued his education at New York University School of Law and received a Masters of Law (LL.M.) in Taxation. While attending NYU, Matthew served as a Graduate Staff Editor of the Tax Law Review.

Matthew joins two experienced TWG lawyers who have earned their LL.M. in Taxation. Thomas C. Triplett received his LL.M. from New York University, and Ross E. Hellwig received his LL.M. from the University of Florida College of Law.
